DOES iOS 17.0.3 SOLVE THE OVERHEATING PROBLEM?
Shortly after the launch of the new iPhone 15 models, users began to complain that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max were getting too hot and in some cases even shutting down due to heat issues. iPhone 15 owners in particular wondered whether the iOS 17.0.3 update fixed the iPhone 15 overheating issue.
According to MacRumors, iOS 17.0.3 fixes the overheating problem on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the update note for iOS 17.0.3 also includes the description “This update delivers important bug fixes, security updates, and resolves an issue that was causing the iPhone to run hotter than expected.”
HOW TO INSTALL iOS 17.0.3 UPDATE?
The iOS 17.0.3 update can be downloaded by going to Settings > General > Software Update on devices eligible to receive the update.
