The trial of the attacks of November 13 closed last July. A final decision must however be made on Tuesday on the admissibility of the civil parties: the court will decide who is recognized as a victim in this case, an important status since it allows to be compensated by the guarantee fund for victims.
This decision is particularly eagerly awaited by the inhabitants of the building on rue du Corbillon in Saint-Denis where two terrorists had taken refuge, including the coordinator of the attacks, Abdelhamid Abaoud. Because despite the hours of shooting and the triggering of an explosive belt that they suffered during the assault of November 18, these inhabitants are so far considered victims of a police operation, but not of terrorism.
