Noting that 2 attackers were neutralized in the operation, the authorities stated that 3 attackers blew themselves up.
An official, who asked not to be named, said the attackers were wearing police uniforms.
TTP TAKES ATTACK
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated that after the suicide attack on a mosque in Peshawar, there was a security threat across the country and that all institutions were on alert.
Foreign Minister Bilaval Bhutto Zardari said in a statement on social media that he condemned the incident, describing it as a terrorist attack.
In the news in Dawn newspaper, it was stated that the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
