At least 50 people were killed in an attack on a church in Ondo state in southwestern Nigeria.
A doctor, who did not want to be named, told the media that at least 50 bodies were found after the attack on a church in the Owo district of Ondo province. The doctor also stated that many people were injured in the attack.

Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu described the incident as a “despicable and demonic attack” on innocent people.
Akeredolu stated that security forces were dispatched to the scene and an investigation was launched into the attack.
