Last week, some mayors from our region sent an urgent letter to Minister Yesilgöz of Justice and Security because they are very concerned about the many attacks on houses. It happens more and more often that criminals attack homes with explosives, presumably because they are arguing with the residents. In recent months there have been attacks on houses in Leerdam, Hoef and Haag, Odijk, Tienhoven and Huizen in North Holland, among others.
