Samuel Pihlström, with a personal best of 3.41.92, made his way through the field at the end and was responsible for a strong finish in the 1,500-meter race in the Czech Ostrava.
The time?
Record speed.
3.35.47 means a Swedish record, as he was just over a second faster than Kalle Berglund who recorded 3.36.63 in February 2019.
The time also means that the 22-year-old passed the International Athletics Federation’s qualification limit of 3.36.00 for the indoor WC in Glasgow.
The championship is decided March 1-3.
