She has changed jump legs from right to left. But at the Istaf Indoor competition in Berlin, it gave no further results.
Five crosses on six jumps it became for Khaddi Sagnia.
The only approved jump on the board measured only four meters and 75 centimeters. Something she didn’t even note when the speaker called out the result.
– I don’t even know what I jumped. But they called everything up in German. So I sat there and just “I shit in”, like, she tells SVT Sport.
There is much to work for for the outdoor season that contains both an European Championship and a World Cup.
– I have little difficulties that I need to work on, I can only do that in competition.
Sagnia: “Become ‘Error'”
Now she has also changed jump legs from right to left legs.
– It is very difficult psychological. It’s not just changing. The technology is disrupted, the feeling, the coordination … I have jumped right all my life. Changing to the left becomes “Error”, she says and continues:
– It’s like the body wants me to jump with the right. It’s something I have to work away.
Among other things, Sagnia has changed coaches from Katrin Klaup to Anders Möller during the winter.
