“Bums like a child”
In SVT Sports’ social media, Ahlberg, 26, has received a lot of love. Thousands of people have commented on the posts and almost everyone praises her courage and that she is open about how she feels.
Ahlberg herself has not been on social media since the incident, but has still felt the support that she calls unreal.
– I really thought like this: “Now I’m standing here, half of Sweden is watching, and it feels like I’ve undressed naked for real and is bawling like a child”.
“Now I feel reasonably well”
She says that it was unplanned to become so emotional in the interviews, and that afterwards it felt shameful. But quickly it felt much better.
