Amersfoort – Athlete Femke Bol has set a world record in the 300 meter hurdles, a distance that is rarely run. The 22-year-old Amersfoortse was supreme at the World Athletics Continental TourGold in the Czech city of Ostrava. Bol sped to 36.86 seconds, almost 1.5 seconds below the old record time. The world record for this unmarketable distance was 38.16.
