(Finance) – Young people and sustainability, a winning combination: the new call is online from today AmbientAzioni, promoted by Territorial Committee Iren of Turin which also this year aims to select and support the implementation of projects that promote the environmental sustainability.
The announcement – reads the official note – is part of the activities of the Turin Territorial Committee, which aims to encourage the participation of the local community in the implementation of sustainability initiatives that can produce a positive impact on the territory and on the quality of life, in line with the strategic objectives of the Iren Group, also defined in the Industrial Plan to 2030: ecological transition, proximity to territories, support for communities to achieve sustainable growth. It is aimed at young people between 18 and 26 years of age, inviting them to propose a project concerning one or more of the following areas: saving of energy and water resources; reduction of waste production; reduction of CO2 emissions; mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
The projects candidates for the call must meet a series of requirements: be original, demonstrate benefits for the community, have repercussions on the territory of the Metropolitan City, be able to be replicated in other contexts, be immediately feasible and have a construction cost between a minimum of 3,000 euros and a maximum of 25,000 euros. In addition to these criteria, it will be important make proposals that can mitigate the negative effects of the crisis generated by Covid-19 and – in any case – that can be realized even in the presence of distancing constraints caused by the health emergency.
The project candidacy, by filling out the specific form in all its parts, it must be sent – no later than 10 October 2022 – via the Dedicated Iren Territorial Committeesafter loading all the required material, following the instructions indicated.
Participation is free and open to those who are between 18 and 26 years old and are residents or students in the area of Metropolitan City of Turin.
