The Sens Interdits theater festival opened this Saturday in Lyon, with Cameroonian choreographer Zora Snake. On a world tour, he presents two creations: Shadow Survivors in French premiere, accompanied by his performance, the Villager’s Opera where he tells the story of Cameroon’s independence by drawing on its origins. The rest of the festival’s programming is also keen to defend artists weakened by the geopolitical context.
