At the Les Volques festival, Betsy Jolas unveils her latest works inspired by Robert Schumann

Unclassifiable and tireless, Betsy Jolas has created more than 200 works in her seven-decade career and is not about to stop. At 96, the Franco-American composer is the star at the Les Volques festival in Nîmes, in the south of France, with around twenty works and is already thinking about her next commission. Carmen Lunsmann met the composer and mother of three at her home in Paris.
