Whether known or less known, Chadian artists have a hard time exporting themselves. Weakness of public policies, embryonic cultural industries: the country has a long way to go to exist on the cultural planet, alongside giants of the continent such as Senegal, Nigeria or Côte d’Ivoire. The Africajarc festival, which has just ended in the south of France, has however provided them with good visibility.
