Ambilight and many more: The Philips OLED 808The flagship of Philips TVs has long been the Ambilight function, which consists of many small LEDs that are attached to the back of the device and glow atmospherically in the colors that flicker across the screen. So it basically expands the screen and you get an even more immersive home theater or gaming experience.
The OLED 808 comes with one three-sided Ambilight of the latest generation used that is guaranteed to make an impression. But it’s not just the lighting that makes a difference. The OLED display performed excellently in several tests (e.g. What Hifi?) and delivers Top quality image. Only expensive high-end models from the competition can offer something more.
Another special feature is support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. With many competing models you have to choose one of the two HDR technologies, with the Philips OLED you get both.
