In last night’s NHL round, the St. Louis Blues became the second team to advance to the second round of the playoffs, in the top eight. The Blues defeated Minnesota Wild by a clear 5-1 and grabbed a 4-2 win.
St. Louis will face in the next round of the playoffs Mikko Rantanen mixed Artturi Lehkonen Coloradon. The Colorado Avalanche previously dropped Nashville straight to 4-0 and secured their first place finish.
In the sixth match, the Blues escaped Wild in the second set. The Blues led 1-0 after the first set Nick Leddyn with paint. The second installment hit Ryan O’Reilly, Tyler Bozak and Vladimir Tarasenko.

– They were playing on the brink of despair, and I think we were able to respond to that. We did a great job, a great performance as a team. It’s good to be at this point now, and I’m looking forward to the next challenge, ”Binnington said after the match.
For the Blues, the win in the playoff series is the first since the club reached the first Stanley Cup in history in 2019.
At least three “game sevens”
In the other three pairs of matches last night, the continuation place could not be resolved yet. The seventh and decisive twist will be seen between Toronto and Tampa Bay, with Tampa Bay Lightning winning 4-3 in overtime.

The match between Boston and Carolina will also see the seventh match. The wins are now 3–3, with Boston beating the U.S. 2–2 last night.
