At least three killed in attack on Lviv

At least three people have been killed when a Russian robot hit a residential building in Lviv in western Ukraine on Thursday night, the city’s mayor, Andriy Sadov, said on Telegram.

Lviv Region Governor Maksym Kozytskyj writes on the Telegram messaging service that the robot hit the apartment building and also caused a fire, which, however, was quickly extinguished.

“Firefighters, medical staff and specialists from the rescue service are working on the scene. People get the help they need. Rescue workers search the race masses”.

In a video that the governor also posted, a house with several floors can be seen where parts of the upper floors are destroyed.

“Now the racial masses are being moved. There will of course be injured and dead,” writes Kozytskyj.

Mayor Sadovj writes on Telegram that around 60 apartments were destroyed in the attack.

“Windows have been blown out, many cars are damaged, about 50 cars…there may be more people under the rubble”.
