In the United States, at least six people have died in the storm Debby in the states of Florida and South Carolina.
The storm is predicted to remain in the coastal area for the next few days.
The US National Hurricane Center predicts the storm will bring catastrophic flooding to eastern South Carolina and southwestern North Carolina by Friday. The governors of both states have declared a state of emergency in the region.
Debby landed in Florida earlier on Monday.
