On Saturday morning, a robot attack hit Chernihiv, a city north of Ukrainian Kiev.
The robot struck central parts of the historic city, at a time when there were many people on the move.
In a telegram, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky writes that a square, a college and a theater met.
– It is an insane terrorist attack, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who notes that over 90 people have been injured, Zelenskyy said at the press conference during the visit to Harpsund.
At the time of the attack, Zelenskyj was on his way to a meeting with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson at Harpsund. The Prime Minister began the press conference by expressing his condolences.
At least seven people have been killed and 25 people are still being treated in hospital.
– Now we know that twelve children have been injured. Among the seven dead is a six-year-old child, and the mother is very badly injured. I want to send my condolences, Zelenskyy said at the press conference.
