According to El País it was the terrace on the second floor that collapsed onto the ground floor, which in turn caused the floor on the ground floor to give way.
Several people are believed to be involved in the racial masses. The incident is reported to have taken place around 8:30 p.m.
Local media reports that the accident happened at a restaurant in the area of Playa de Palma, near the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca.
In pictures from local media, firefighters, police and ambulances are working at the scene. The police have asked people who are nearby to be completely quiet, in order to hear the cries for help from the racial masses, writes El Pais.

The Swedish Foreign Ministry has been in contact with the Swedish embassy in Madrid and writes in an email to SVT Nyheter: “We currently have no information about injured or dead Swedes.”
