At least five dead in attack on residential buildings in Ukrainian Dnipro

So far, five people have been reported dead in the attack on a residential building in the eastern city of Dnipro, writes Valentyn Reznitchenko, the region’s governor, on Telegram.

27 people are said to have been injured in the attack so far, including several children. Pictures show a house in ruins.

Several explosions rocked Ukrainian cities on Saturday, including in the regions of Lviv, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya. Important infrastructure and factory buildings have been destroyed, which could lead to emergency power outages, local authorities warn.
