If the numbers are confirmed, it would be the deadliest attack on Gaza since 2008, according to AP.
The World Health Organization, WHO, strongly condemns the information about the attack on the hospital.
“The hospital in question was one of 20 in the area that the Israeli military had previously urged residents to evacuate. The hospital was in use with patients, caregivers and people who took shelter there,” the organization writes on its website website.
IDF: Jihad behind the attack.
Both the Israeli military, the IDF, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claim that the terrorist group Islamic Jihad is behind the attack.
“Intelligence from several sources indicates that terrorist-labeled Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed rocket attack that hit the hospital in Gaza,” it said in a statement.

Six dead in attack on school
