At least 40 people died in yesterdays Israeli attacks on

In Lebanon, at least 40 people have died on Wednesday in Israeli attacks on the eastern parts of the country, the Lebanese Ministry of Health says.

According to the ministry, more than 50 people were also wounded in the Israeli attacks on the Bekaa Valley and the city of Baalbek. The number of victims may still rise, because according to the ministry, rescuers are still looking for survivors in the ruins.

The Israeli army had not issued an evacuation warning for the area.

Israel has been striking, for example, southern Lebanon, the capital Beirut, and the eastern Bekaa Valley since the end of September.

Early on Thursday, Israel continued its attacks on the southern parts of Beirut. According to the Al-Jadeed channel, Israel has carried out at least four strikes in the area.
