At least 11 people have been killed in heavy rains and floods that have battered northern China this week. Fourteen people are still missing in the city of Huludao in Liaoning province, China’s state television channel CCTV reported.
Rescue and clearance work is currently continuing, and one rescue worker has reportedly been killed.
The exceptionally heavy rain is estimated to have caused almost a billion euros worth of damage.
