At a meeting in Lyon, Nathalie Arthaud calls for “the workers’ camp” to be heard

Nathalie Arthaud held a meeting in Lyon, Friday April 1. In front of nearly 350 people, the candidate of Lutte Ouvrière (LO) expressed her fears about the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the economic and social situation of the country. She also recalled her uniqueness as a candidate.

“I assume that I am not seeking to be President of the Republic”. A presidential candidate who claims not to want to win the election is not trivial, but for Nathalie Arthaudnothing more logical. “Why vote for my candidacy? What could be at stake? Well because it is a vote that affirms the need to fight and overthrow capitalism,” she assures.

According to the Lutte Ouvrière candidate, the solution is revolution. And every opportunity is a good one to sow the seeds. “We run for all the elections to carry the voice of the workers”, explains for her part Christine, a party activist.

A question of principles

At Lutte Ouvrière, it’s all about principles. Antimilitarism in particular, which pushes Nathalie Arthaud to harshly criticize her rivals on the left: “Capitalism, either we fight it until its destruction, or we end up becoming one of its cogs, is what leads Mélenchon today, for example, to rejoice that Dassault is selling Rafale planes. »

It is therefore alone that Nathalie Arthaud and her party survey the way to the presidential. “So on April 10, make the workers’ camp heard by voting for me! », launches the candidate with the conviction that each vote collected will bring them closer to the great revolutionary evening.
