Asus unveils a surprising 14 inch portable touchscreen and tilting monitor

Asus took advantage of the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) 2022 show in Las Vegas to present its new 14-inch monitor ProArt Display PA147CDV. Intended for content creators, this portable touch model is distinguished by its atypical 32:9 format (1920 x 550 pixels) and by its base equipped with a large control wheel.

This wheel, reminiscent of the Surface Dial, can be used with compatible Microsoft or Adobe applications, for example Photoshop and Lightroom. In addition, the touch screen is compatible with the Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0 protocol, for use with a stylus under Windows.

The base also allows you to control the tilt of the screen and has two USB Type-C ports, compatible with the Power Delivery standard for power supply, as well as an HDMI 1.4 port.

The IPS touch screen has been calibrated to offer very good color fidelity (Delta E less than 2) and benefits from the Calman Verified label, used by image professionals.

The ProArt Display PA147CDV monitor is expected to be released in the second quarter in the United States. Its release date in France is not yet known.
