Simon Åström is elected chairman of SvFF.
– Big thanks dear congregation. I just want to briefly make a big and humble thank you for the support you have shown, says Åström, who states that he should hold a longer speech at the end of the union meeting.
Åström takes over after Fredrik Reinfeldt who leaves the chair after two turbulent years. When the nomination committee proposed Åström as new chairman, the former prime minister chose not to stand for re -election.
