Aston Villas losses also continued in the Champions League

The bright spot of football’s early autumn, Aston Villa, has faced difficulties recently.

Aston Villa suffered their third consecutive defeat in all competitions on Wednesday as Belgian home team Club Brugge opened their winning account in the men’s Champions League by Hans Vanaken by scoring a penalty kick 1–0.

Vanaken’s 52nd-minute penalty was awarded to Villa By Tyrone Mings for a manual error.

In the Champions League, Aston Villa had progressed from win to win in their three previous matches. Unai Emery’s the troops have beaten Bayern Munich, Young Boys and Bologna in the UCL.

Aston Villa next face Juventus in their UCL home game on November 27. In the remaining games of the league stage, Villa will travel to Leipzig and Monaco as guests, and in the final round they will face Celtic at home.

The Birmingham team, tired of the game jam, is going through a difficult phase, as it lost before Wednesday in the Premier League last weekend to Tottenham and before that in the League Cup to Crystal Palace.
