Thirty ultra-right activists, armed, attacked the premises of an association of immigrant workers on Sunday. A man was seriously injured.
The Paris prosecutor’s office has decided to open an investigation for “voluntary homicide attempt”, aiming for the moment six people identified as far -right activists. These individuals were arrested in police custody following a violent and very impressive assault, which occurred this Sunday, February 16, around 5:20 p.m., in the heart of Paris, in the 10th arrondissement.
As BFMTV reports, which relies on the information of the prosecution, a group of people “hooded and equipped with bottle shards” have forcibly introduced themselves into the courtyard of a building which houses an association of Turkish immigrant workers.
According to this source, at least one immigrant was seriously injured and taken care of by the emergency services. The victim was affected violently by a weapon that seems to be a stabbing weapon, given the nature of the wounds observed. His vital prognosis was a time committed, his state of health has stabilized and his days are no longer in danger.
The CGT said that this violent assault took place while the association had organized an event to project a film. The union points to the political character of this attack, and targets the extreme right. “Yesterday, fascists violently attacked the white weapon a cinema projection organized by a Turkish collective in Paris. Among the 2 people transferred to the hospital, one is a CGT activist,” wrote on X Sophie Binet , secretary general of the union.

The police quickly intervened, the police were able to arrested 6 men, but other individuals are actively sought. Images of aggression have been broadcast on social networks since Monday, February 17. Humanity has published extracts from the assault, and evokes a “neonazi attack” targeting young Kurds and a “stabbed” man. On the video, we hear a man screaming “Paris is Nazi”.
