Chatham-Kent police attended a Dresden address on Sunday where a 25-year-old man was allegedly causing a disturbance inside with other family members.
He was charged with breaching the peace and assault. He was taken to headquarters where he was processed and lodged until he was sober, police said. He was later released with a short date.
Warrant arrests
On Nov. 2 of last year, a 28-year-old Wallaceburg woman was released with a short date of Dec. 8.
She allegedly failed to attend her court date and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On Saturday, she was located in Lambton County and returned to Chatham-Kent where she was taken to headquarters. She was held for bail.
In a separate matter, a warrant was issued for a 58-year-old Chatham man in December for allegedly failing to comply with his previous release order.
On Sunday, he was located and arrested. He was held for bail.
