Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag version is still in the early stages of development and isn’t scheduled for release in a few years, according to Kotaku’s sources. The report also states that a team from Ubisoft Singapore is involved in the game.
Originally released in 2013, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was the first game in the series to be released on PS4 and Xbox One. The game featured the typical assassination one would expect from the hero Edward Kenway, as well as a pirate-filled open sea where players could engage in naval battles.

Considering that Ubisoft is currently working on Skull and Bones, we can think that pirate-themed games have had the expected effect on the company.
