It has been reported that a commander of the Revolutionary Guards Army (DMO) in Tehran, the capital of Iran, lost his life as a result of an armed attack in front of his house.
According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, an officer named Kasım Fethullahi, who served in the DMO’s Tehran Mohammad Rasulullah Corps, was attacked by gunfire.
Fethullahi, who was hit by 4 bullets in the attack carried out in front of his house in the south of the capital, lost his life.
In the news, which described the incident as a “terrorist attack”, it was stated that Fethullahi was also one of the commanders of the Besic militia unit affiliated to the DMO.
On the other hand, Colonel Ali Sabahi, Head of Tehran Police Information Center, announced that the investigation into the attack continues and detailed information will be given later. (AA)
