It has been reported that a colonel of the Revolutionary Guards Army was assassinated in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
According to the statement made by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Army, Colonel Seyyad Khodayi was attacked near his home on Mujahidin-i Islam Street in Tehran.

It was reported that the Iranian colonel was killed by bullets hitting his head as a result of the gunfire opened by two attackers on a motorcycle.
Capture efforts have been initiated for the attackers who fled the scene.
