Asmongold’s ban on Twitch caused so much trouble that one of his partners made a clear announcement

Streamer Zack Hoyt, known as Asmongold, was banned from Twitch after he ranted about the war in Gaza in a video and said the people there belonged to an “inferior culture.” The ban from Twitch is causing quite a stir, even though it is only supposed to last 14 days. One of Asmongold’s colleagues at the organization “One True King” is now speaking out and harshly criticizing Asmongold’s fans.

What effects does the ban have? Asmongold apologized extensively for his comments and said he had reflected on himself and realized that he had taken a negative turn over the last two years.

Asmongold has now stepped down from the leadership role of the group he co-founded, One True King. This is a group of content creators who have been working together since 2020. Asmongold was the most famous streamer here. There are people like Emiru, Sodapoppin, Esfand, Mizkif and TecTone – especially streamers from the WoW scene.

This withdrawal from One True King affects the remaining participants. Because Asmongold fans are looking for an outlet to vent their anger.

Twitch streamer Asmongold says: “Stop watching streams at 3 a.m. if you don’t have any money!”

Asmongold fans attack his organization OTK

These are the consequences for OTK: One of the co-owners of One True King is Nick “Nmplol” Poland.

He has now commented on the effects of the ban in a Twitch stream. He criticizes Asmongold fans who blame the organization for their anger over Asmongold’s ban and his renunciation of the leadership role at OTK.

Because tweets about OTK now say things like:

  • “Fuck OTK for abandoning Asmongold, for the most unimportant piece of crap ever.”
  • “Very disappointed that Asmongold apologized for something that wasn’t wrong.”
  • “You are nothing without Asmongold”
  • “You dogs stuck the dagger in his back.”
  • “He doesn’t know you, LiL’ Bro”

This is what the streamer says: NPMLol says:

Guys, you Asmongold defenders are embarrassing to no end. Listen: He’s our friend, not yours. You really come across like the ultimate losers – just stop. Lil’ Bro, he don’t know you, stop it. He’s our buddy, we talk to him every day – we know him, you don’t know him.

Grow up, focus on yourself, get a job, go to the gym. It’s pathetic: every single tweet from OTK gets hate messages. It’s just crazy. Stop it.

The streamer says: All of these postings paint the community in a terrible light. Asmongold is her friend. Just because fans watched Asmongold all day doesn’t mean they know him well.

He had never experienced such an uprising.

That’s what’s behind it: It is clear that Asmongold appears differently to his colleagues in private than he does live on stream. Asmongold will also have a different connection to his colleagues than to his viewers. Asmongold is a successful businessman and has business relationships and obligations that he doesn’t discuss with viewers. He has explained several times that he separates personal belongings and business from his appearance on Twitch.

From what we’ve heard now, the time out Asmongold is currently taking is authentic – he seems to be questioning himself and he’s really sorry for the last statements. There is no evil external force pushing them and forcing them to say what they say.

The fans don’t seem to want to accept this, but believe that he is now being “betrayed by his friends” in some way – but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The decision to step away from OTK for now seems to have really come from Asmongold, who explains that the other things in his life, besides streaming, are causing him a lot of stress and have apparently led to a negative development.

The key point for Amongold’s self-identified negative development in recent years appears to be 2021, when his mother died and his long-time girlfriend PinkSparkles broke up with him. This is what Asmongold recently talked about: Asmongold finally explains why he is the way he is
