Microtransactions often attract children and young people, but they don’t always have the money for them. In the worst cases, parents’ credit cards are stolen. In the Twitch stream, Asmongold reacted to a boy who did exactly that – for Roblox cheats.
What happened? In a recent stream, Asmongold reacted to a video from his subreddit. The clip shows a boy streaming in a Discord and arguing with his mother. She accuses him of stealing her credit card because purchases were made with her number.
The boy denies this and types something on the computer. But the argument escalates and becomes loud. The other participants in the Discord call simply say: Yes, you did it. The argument drags on for another 1-2 minutes until the call eventually ends.

Asmongold is amused by the situation
How does Asmongold react to the video? In his reaction, which can also be viewed on YouTube, the streamer seems amused by the video. He also reacts in the same way to the boy’s efforts, who apparently bought 10 things with the credit card.
What amuses him most is the reason the boy needed the credit card for: Roblox. But he didn’t need it for microtransactions; according to Asmongold, the boy wanted to give someone money to buy him cheats.
But one statement from the boy particularly impressed the streamer. During an argument, he said to his mother: I hate this stupid house. Not only a comment on Reddit, but also Asmongold can’t believe it, because his room looks better than that of most professional streamers.
Microtransactions have long been criticized in many games because they are deliberately designed to be addictive. These things are designed to encourage you to buy through gambling mechanics and psychological tricks. What can you do if something like this happens to you? If you notice strange transactions on your credit card, you can always have them blocked by your bank. In cases of unwanted microtransactions, it is also worth contacting the respective companies or consulting the consumer advice center.
