And the comeback ended well for Asllani as visiting Milan won 1-0 after a goal by Christy Grimshaw.
The victory meant that Milan finished third in the table.
The 33-year-old has had problems with his groin since the beginning of the year. Now the hope is that the worries will be over before the WC in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
