(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Askoll EVAa company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the sustainable mobility market, closed 2022 with Net revenues equal to 13 million euros, down by 27% compared to 2021 mainly due to the reduction of the demand in the sharing and delivery sectors. In particular, the delivery was affected by the collapse of some European operators (Gorillas) and by the closure of the Domino’s Pizza activities in Italy. The reduction in retail is attributable in Italy to the management of the Ecobonus, while abroad to the still too limited distribution development in some key European markets.

“The increase in energy costs, raw materials and electronic components had a negative effect on the operating result, despite the continuous improvement of efficiencies on the line and the reorganization of the production phases in order to improve logic flows – commented theCEO Gian Franco Nanni – During the year we expanded our range of action in the e-bike drive sector with the launch of our Askoll ULTRA C90A engine from which we expect interesting returns in terms of turnover and margins in the coming years”.

As at 31 December 2022 the Net Financial Position amounts to 9.35 million euros, an increase compared to 6.7 million in the first half of 2022. The change is attributable to the new shareholder loan granted in September 2022 by the parent company Askoll Holding Srl for 3 million euros support for existing investments and future development plans.
