(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Weak session for the Asian markets, with Chinese lists showing the worst performance after a decline in optimism about the change in the Covid-19 rules. Investors fear that the increase in Covid-19 cases could have a negative effect on consumption and production. Market performance is also affected by a certain caution on the part of traders, as a flurry of rate decisions will arrive in the coming days from the US Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank and other central banks.
Among the actions against the trend there are those of Chinese manufacturers of drugs, masks and tests for the fears of a increase in mass infections following the easing of strict zero-COVID policies. Also important is that China’s National Administration of Traditional Medicine has published a long list of recommended medicines, including cough and flu medicines, that people could use to cope with infections at home.
