The police have special traffic rules
However, there are no requirements to call for a clear road, which is why the police can drive without both blue lights and sirens in case of emergency. There are times when the police neither want to be heard nor seen, but still have to arrive quickly.
In other words, there is no speed limit for a police officer in urgent cases, but most police cars have a maximum speed of 250 km/h, both with and without blue lights and sirens.
