AS Monaco recruits Japanese Takumi Minamino for four years

After several days of insistent rumors, the transfer was formalized this Tuesday, June 28 at the end of the afternoon: Takumi Minamino is Monegasque. The 27-year-old Japanese international striker is the Principality club’s first signing. He signed up for four seasons with the Red and Whites. ASM has, according to sources familiar with the matter, spent 15 million euros to attract him from Liverpool. Trained at Cereso Osaka, then spent in Austria at Red Bull Salzburg and in England at Southampton and therefore in Liverpool, Takumi Minaminp has been playing with the national team of Japan since 2015 (42 caps, 17 goals).
