Contemporary artist, considered one of the greatest figures on the international scene, pioneer of feminist criticism in the 1970s, the French Annette Messager has developed works heavy with social, human and political meaning to deconstruct, not without humor and fantasy, the clichés associated with women. With its new exhibition As ifat the LaM museum, Lille Métropole art museum, the 78-year-old artist presents her most emblematic works to which she adds other more recent ones.
