Risto Dufva ended his coaching career at the end of the season.
The new head coach of Vaasan Sport, which plays in the ice hockey championship league, is Juuso Hahl.

Sports coaches have been appointed Janne Grönvall, Tommo Nukari and Arttu Lipsanen.
Juuso Hahl has worked in Sport as Dufva’s assistant coach from the 2021–2022 season. Before that, he worked as an assistant coach in Mikkeli Jukurei for the seasons 2016–2020.
In between the league games, Hahl was the head coach of Mestis club Koovee for one season. The head coaching job is therefore Hahl’s first in the SM league.
They are responsible for physical training Juho Annala and Mikko Valto. They also serve as support in physics matters Jaakko Ojaniemi and Pekka Koskela From Kourtanene College.
Sport’s season in the men’s SM league ended in 10th place.
Miketinac and Hanzl continue, Scarlett is negotiated
Negotiations with the players are still in progress, but at least eight players from last season’s team will be leaving.
In the goalkeeper department Rasmus Reohila replaces the one returning from a loan from Turku TuTo Jere Huhtamaa. The third goalkeeper is young Masi Härkönen.
