“As a streamer you can’t do anything” – Trymacs reports on Twitch about a really unpleasant children’s birthday party

As “Trymacs”, Hamburger Maximilian Stemmler is one of the most successful streamers on German Twitch. He jokingly describes himself as a “streamer with no skills”. In a stream he now spoke about his skills, or rather: the lack of them.

In a recent stream, Trymacs talks about an unpleasant situation for him: being asked to perform somewhere as a favor for friends or family. As one of the biggest German streamers, he has a certain celebrity factor and numerous fans, but the 29-year-old has no special skills that he could unpack on command.

Trymacs shared this insight after watching his Twitch colleague Fibii as an “entertainer” trying to entertain a group of teenagers. You can find the whole video on YouTube, the topic starts at 1:40.

Some Twitch streamers also have a wide range of skills.

Trymacs as a guest at the children’s birthday party

What exactly does Trymacs say? He reports going to a child’s birthday party as a favor for a distant family member. The kids there were all around 13 and were very happy. But: “As a streamer, you can’t do anything,” says Trymacs.

He continues: “You can’t be funny on demand. You’re not a singer, you have no talent. You can’t play music, you can’t stand-up, you can’t tell jokes. You can not do anything. You can’t retrieve anything, you can’t backflip or dance.”

In addition, Trymacs says he is quite shy and introverted. So for him the whole thing was “super uncomfortable”.

He chatted a bit with those present, made “very shitty small talk,” was available for photos and then left again.

What can he do? Trymacs can shine with one ability: the classic one is that he should give players of the mobile game Clash Royale ratings for their decks or villages. He could do that, according to the streamer.

After all, he is at the top of the Supercell games.

The legendary Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins also discovered in the bitterest way that being an online entertainer doesn’t translate so easily into real life.
