There is still a lack of substitutes to staff care and social care in Arvika municipality during the summer. Bonuses for those who work the entire holiday period and compensation for postponed holiday weeks are two measures to manage staffing.
– I’m asking for help in solving the need for substitutes so that our employees can get the vacation they so badly need, says Eva Nilsson, operational manager of Care and Care.
A total of 350 substitutes are needed during the holiday season to cover for regular staff in care and social care. Currently, around 100 people are still missing.
