Artturi Lehkonen had a four-point night in the toughest hockey league in North America. Many Finnish players were in good shape during the round.
Artturi Lehkonen was on a roll in the NHL, when the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Carolina Hurricanes by 6–4.
Lehkonen hit from in front of the goal with his second hit of the season, and he was also involved in the build-up by Ryan Johansen, by Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen hits.
The night of four power points increased Lehkonen’s points balance for the season to 2+4=6. Lehkonen has never scored four points in one game before.
Carolina took the lead at the beginning of the match when Jesperi Kotkaniemi (1+1) was sharp in front of the goal. However, Colorado equalized and came away with the victory thanks to a wild second period.
Even though Carolina took the lead in the second period as well, Colorado scored no less than five goals. The last of these was scored by Rantanen, who scored his fourth hit of the season, who got a lot of space on the blue line after the opening win.

Carolina’s Finnish star Sebastian Aho was still sidelined due to injury. Keeper Antti Raanta was on the flute shift opening the hatch.
Great goal from Barkov
The Florida captain was responsible for the most amazing Finnish goal of the NHL night Alexander Barkovfor whom the goal was the first of the season.
Barkov stepped up, got the puck over the blue line and skilfully deflected the puck past the Vancouver keeper Casey DeSmith.

Barkov also got his fifth assist of the season by Sam Reinhart to a 2–3 reduction, after which Reinhart also leveled the match. However, Florida suffered a bitter defeat when Andrei Kuzmenko succeeded and Vancouver won the match 5–3.
Hintz painted for Dallas
Dallas was there many times against Philadelphia, but the Flyers struggled to tie the game twice. Eventually Joe Pavelski scored a 5–4 winning goal for Dallas in overtime.
The Finnish Center Roope Hintz lopened his second goal of the season. Also Miro Heiskanen got a taste of the points when he was involved Tyler Seguin in the goal.
