Arts: Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien, between sculpture, embroidery and weaving


In her workshop, Marie-Claire Messouma-Manlanbien has a loom, a ceramic kiln, a sewing workshop among others.

She grew up between Abidjan and Paris where she lives today. Visual artist Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien is currently exhibiting at the Nice Biennale, in the south of France, and that of Bamako, in Mali. At 32, Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien invents new forms, nourished by her two cultures, Ivorian and Guadeloupe.
