Artist Donne Dijkhorst does not allow himself to be limited

He doesn’t get it from a stranger. Donne’s father is also an artist. He taught him some tricks of the trade and ensured that Donne could start working at Wijde Doelen, a creative breeding ground for people with intellectual disabilities. However, Donne does not allow himself to be limited in his art. He works with pencil, fineliner, paint, ink and ceramics, in color and black and white, and makes paintings, drawings, linocuts and figurines. Donne: “I do have my own style. But I am still fully experimenting and searching. It is still evolving.”
