According to Bloomberg, citing close sources, YouTube is developing an artificial intelligence-supported tool that allows content creators to record audio using the voices of famous musicians.
The people, who wanted to remain anonymous because the conversations were confidential, claimed that the video site had applied to music companies to obtain the rights to the songs that it could use to train this tool.
The news said that although negotiations between the two parties continue, the major record companies have not signed any agreements yet.
The news stated that YouTube launched a new tool package that uses artificial intelligence last month, and stated that the company hoped to make the music tool available at that time, but had not yet received the rights at that time.
