(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Arterra Biosciencea green biotech company specializing in research and development in the field of biotechnologies, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market since 2019, closed the first half with a turnover of 1.6 million euros, down 25.09% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Maria Gabriella ColucciCo-Founder, President and CEO of Arterra Bioscience, explained that the drop “is entirely due to the sales of cosmetic raw materials“, which went from 1.8 to 1.3 million euros (-29.55%), and the 2022 budget already highlighted “a drastic reduction” in the sales of cosmetic raw materials to Chinese customers starting from the second half of 2022.
For Colucci, however, “it is important to highlight how in the last month there has been a timid recovery in orders from the Chinese market”, which, combined with the good performance of sales on the European and North American markets, allows us to “be confident about a trend reversal in the continuation of the current year”.
