(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Arterra Biosciencea green biotech company specialized in research and development in the field of biotechnologies and listed on Euronext Growth Milan, closed 2022 with a production value equal to 5.3 million euro, with a growth of 15.09% compared to the same period of the previous year. L’EBITDA amounted to 2.1 million euros (EBITDA margin by 40.21%), an increase of 22.88%, while the Net income it stood at 1.4 million euro, an increase of 27.33%.
“The turnover generated by the sales of raw materials, during the 2022 financial year, remained constant compared to 2021 – commented theCEO Maria Gabriella Colucci – The slowdown in sales in the second half of 2022, due to the ongoing lock downs in China, offset the significant increase recorded in the first half”.
“Although the first few months of the year did not record any substantial changes, the progressive normalization of the situation in China allows us to be confident that the growth trend recorded in the first part of 2022 can restart in the second part of 2023″, he added.
There net financial position was positive (cash) for 5.5 million euro, compared to 4.2 million as at 31 December 2021. Cash and cash equivalents as at 31 December 2022 amounted to 4.4 million euro, compared to 4.8 million as at 31 December 2021 .
The Board of Directors has proposed to allocate the profit for the financial year 2022: for 665,849.30 euros for the recognition to the Shareholders of a dividend equal to 0.1 euro (gross of legal withholdings) for each ordinary share; for the remainder, equal to 748,175.09 euros, as new.
