“Art is a combat sport”, photo exhibition at the Saint-Jacques tower in Paris

One year before the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the City of Paris has been honoring its athletes since the beginning of the summer through a Cultural Olympiad, including the photographic exhibition “Art is a combat sport”, presented on the gates of the Saint-Jacques tower in the 4th arrondissement. Photographer Françoise Huguier focuses on world boxing champion Aya Cissoko. The pictures testify to an encounter between two women whose very different worlds have found their echo.
